Introduction: Using this web site

Click on an artist's name in the upper left hand menu and you will see the artist's home page with a brief account of their work and their photograph. Artists are listed in alphabetic order of their first name.

Click on the art form below their account and photograph and you'll see the art work that she or he has done - some have employed just one media, others, two or three. Click on a link to see their work. Note that where they have used different media, these will be shown on the same page - scroll up or down to explore further.

Click on a media in the lower left hand menu and you will read about the media, what materials are involved, the skills you need and an indication of costs. Media are listed in alphabetic order.

Click on the INFORMATION BUTTON to see the introductory page for that mediaAt the right of each heading for art media you will see an information button - click on this button and you will be shown the introductory page for that media. Click on the back button to return to the artist's page.

A note on iamges: sometimes an art work is quite large and we can only show a small image and sometimes just part of an image.

Some, but not all, of the images are available in a larger size - if the image has a slight shaded background you can click on it to see the larger version. If there two or more enlarged images you can click on an arrow at the right (or left) to see further (or earlier) large images. You can close any large image by clicking on the cross in the top right hand corner of the image.

The menu across the screen will provide information about:
